1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Sniffmail API service ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Sniffmail provides an email validation API that detects disposable/burner email addresses and verifies mailbox existence. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available."

3. API Usage

You agree to use the API only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You are responsible for all activity under your API key. You must not:

• Share your API key with third parties
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits or usage quotas
• Use the Service for spamming, phishing, or other malicious purposes
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
• Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization

4. Pricing and Payment

We offer two payment options:

• Subscriptions: Billed monthly or annually in advance with included verification limits and usage-based overage pricing
• Credit Packs: One-time purchases that provide pay-as-you-go verification credits with no subscription commitment

Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as specified in our 7-day refund policy. Credit pack purchases are non-refundable. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice.

5. Credits

Credits are a pay-as-you-go option for email verifications:

• 1 credit = 1 email verification
• Credits never expire and carry over indefinitely
• Credits are used after your free monthly limit is exhausted
• Credit purchases are non-refundable
• Credits cannot be transferred between accounts
• Upon account deletion, any remaining credits are forfeited

6. Free Tier

The free tier provides 500 verifications per month at no cost. The free tier is provided at our discretion and may be modified or discontinued at any time. Abuse of the free tier, including creating multiple accounts to circumvent limits, may result in account termination and forfeiture of any purchased credits.

7. Service Tier Limitations

Different service tiers provide varying levels of detection capability:

• Free Tier: Includes basic disposable email detection using a curated list of common providers. May not detect all disposable services, particularly newer or less common ones.
• Paid Options (Subscriptions & Credit Packs): Include full disposable detection with our extended database of 10,000+ providers, pattern matching for dynamic domains, and regular updates to catch emerging services.

For production use requiring comprehensive protection against disposable emails, we recommend a paid plan. We make no guarantees that any tier will detect 100% of disposable email addresses.

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability. We are not liable for any damages resulting from service interruptions.

9. Data Accuracy

While we strive for accuracy, email validation results are provided for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee 100% accuracy and are not liable for decisions made based on our results.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sniffmail shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or by posting a notice on our website. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
